The 7th WAVO Congress was recently held on 12 November 2015 in Beijing. The VGP discipline of the Institute, also the site of the Headquarters for WAVO, co-hosted the 7th WAVO Congress with the China Appraisal Society (CAS) which is also the Beijing WAVO office. Members who attended the recent Congress included those from Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand, United States, Australia, China (China Institute of Real Estate) and the VGP delegates from Singapore led by Dr Lim Lan Yuan (President, VGP). The Congress was warmly attended by some 200 fellow valuers and professionals from Beijing valuation societies, valuation institutions, local academies as well as overseas delegates.
