The Training Courses in English language prepare for the certification examination for real estate valuers HypZert for Mortgage Lending Valuation CIS HypZert (MLV). This certification is addressed to valuers who have already been working for several years in the valuation of property in other countries except Germany, who already hold an acknowledged title regarding the determination of market values, and who would now like to obtain an additional qualification in the field of mortgage lending valuation. These training courses are offered exclusively by the vdpPfandbriefAkademie.

Guidelines on management of non-performing and forborne exposures

As a result of the financial crisis, many banking institutions in Europe are still dealing with high levels of non-perfoming exposures (NPEs) and non-performing loans (NPLs). At European level, much was discussed last year, and the European Banking Authority (EBA) published a Final Report on handling NPEs on 31.10.2018. The EBA guidelines for dealing with NPEs are expected to enter into force at the end of June 2019.

Expertes from the EBA, from vdpExpertise GmbH and a representative of a Pfandbriefbank will outline the underlying principles of the guideline and explain the development of recovery rates and settlement times of failed real estate financing.

The presentations will be held partly in German, partly in English. The workshop ends with a light lunch with opportunity for exchange and networking.
